Golden Arrows victory saw them overtake Orlando Pirates on the table as they now sit in the 5th place spot with Orlando Pirates dropping to the 6th place spot.
Golden Arrows is now equally on 9 points with Orlando Pirates on the table with the same goal difference. Golden Arrows played a good match against Marumo Gallants as they found the back of the net three times conceding only once by own goal.
After a goalless draw at the half-time break, Golden Arrows opened the scoring in the early minutes of the second half of the match when Nkosinathi Sibisi scored from the penalty spot in the 51st minute for a 1-0 lead. Golden Arrows extended their lead to 2-0 when Knox Mutizwa scored in the 65th minute.
The score changed to 2-1 as Marumo Gallants got a goal in the match when Knox Mutizwa scored an own goal in the 75th minute. Golden Arrows added another goal to their score when their scored a late second half injury time goal when Siyabonga Given Khumalo scored in the 90+1 minute. Golden Arrows win the match 3-1 at full-time.
Mamelodi Sundowns is in the top spot while Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs sit outside of the top 5.
