It is always hard for soccer to come up with a plan for how they can keep making money after their careers are over. Most players end up being poor and broke after their careers are over.
Willard Katsande, a former player for Kaizer Chiefs, seems to have started his own business and is getting ready for life after football.
Since he is 36 years old and his career could end at any time, he has set up a company called "Katsande Partners" that seems to offer services related to construction.
He posted a picture of himself doing what looked like painting. He showed how the room looked before he started and how it looked after he finished.
He is known as "Salt and Pepper," and he has adjusted well to his new team, Sekhukhune United, which he joined at the start of the season. He still manages to keep his fans' attention on him.
When his soccer career is over, he will have something to fall back on and focus on. However, he has been linked with a return to Amakhosi in a different role, probably as an Ambassador for the club, which is a trend among PSL clubs right now.
We wish the hard-working Zimbabwean all the best with his businesses and everything he wants to do with them.
