Former Kaizer Chiefs Coach Hunt Opens up about Chippa United Exit

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has opened up about his exit from Chippa United.

Hunt is currently without a club after the former Bidvest Wits coach was recently sacked by the Chilli boys.

Hunt was sacked following a string of poor results that saw the Gqeberha based side sitting near the relegation zone.

Before he was sacked he was first suspended by the club.

Speaking to the media the coach has opened about his sacking from Chippa.

Hunt believes that his honesty is what led him to be sacked by the club.

"Maybe I am too honest. Maybe I talk too much and am too opinionated, and club bosses dislike honesty in coaches," he said.

The coach joined Chippa few months after he was sacked by Kaizer Chiefs last year.

He added that he will never change his principles to accommodate anyone and has insisted that he will stick to what he believes in.

Hunt is currently working as an analyst in the Africa cup of Nations for Supersport TV.

The coach also insisted that he is available to coach any team should the right offer arise.
