Kaizer Chiefs Will Be Without A Key Player Against SuperSport United

Kaizer Chiefs will be without one of their important players in their upcoming match against Supersport United.

Amakhosi will go to the high-flying Supersport for the DStv Premiership match this Sunday.

Chiefs will be searching for methods to move into the top eight in the log table, but it will be a difficult game as they face a side that is also looking to cut the gap on Mamelodi Sundowns, who now lead the log table.

Prior to the Chippa United encounter last week, Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter announced that Lebogang Manyama had sustained a recuring injury and would be ruled out.

As a result, the athlete did not play when his club defeated Chippa 4-0.

At the time, it was unclear how long the player would be suspended.

According to new sources, his injury is not serious, but he is unlikely to play in Sunday's encounter against the Tshwane-based team.

Baxter also revealed that two players, Dumisani Zuma and Kgaogelo Sekgota, will return from injury.

Manyama could be available when the Chiefs face Stellenbosch FC in a league match on November 2nd.
