GEORGE MALULEKA REVEALS WHY HE LEFT KAIZER CHIEFS

The secret of George Maluleka's controversial departure from Kaizer Chiefs has now been revealed.

He claims that he did not have any other option than to depart.

"I am aware that some people are still upset, and I have both heard and seen the remarks that I was responsible for the Chiefs not winning the championship, but what could I do? The events that took place there are now in the past, and I truly do not enjoy talking about them. Maluleka stated to SAFM Sport that the choice was not his own.

"It occurs in every country in the world. We were unable to come to agreement with Chiefs, so we severed ties with them. They are aware of the reason why we were unable to agree on the parameters.

"Despite the fact that there are some people who are upset, I am aware that some have accepted what took place and have offered me supportive notes, which I have very appreciated. But right now I'd prefer to concentrate on AmaZulu rather than looking to the past."
