In case you might have thought that Royal AM's 4-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs was just pure luck, oh well you got it all wrong as the KZN based side has managed to step up on their back to back victories. It can be said that their big victory against Kaizer Chiefs could have been something that motivated Mam Mkhize's boys as they walked all over TS Galaxy as they were playing at home after beating them 4-2. Owen Da Gama's side was just not effective enough against the much determined KZN outfit.
TS Galaxy had another terrible experience in the field of play after they were handed a 3-0 heavy defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns, and that is one defeat that they are yet to recover from and just when they prepared themselves for a come back against Royal AM, things continued to fall apart once again and the mistake that Da Gama's mistake was to change his selection line up. Mam Mkhize's side did not change their starting line up against the visiting side and it can be said that the coach has confidence on his players.
The home team applied pressure from the early stages of the match and their efforts eventually paid off as they scored the first goal of the match on the 4th minute when a sloppy defence of TS Galaxy empowered Monamodi to score the first goal of the match. In the 30th minute Royal AM doubled their lead through Levy Mashiane.
Victor Letsoalo the star striker of Royal AM was also in action and didn't want to miss the party that was hosted at Chatsworth Stadium as he scored the third goal of the match. Kabelo Mahlasela scored the fourth goal of Royal AM, TS Galaxy did manage to score 2 goals for themselves but that was not enough to save them from the might of Royal AM.
