Cape Town City Rule Out Fasika Departure who Attracted Interests from Mamelodi Sundowns

The boss of Cape Town City John Comitis has ruled out any possible departure of Nathan Fasika who has gained interest from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

After joining City last year from Congosele side FC Saint-Eloi Lupopo, Fasika has been one on the club's most performing players in the past season.

The 23-year old joined the Mother city based side on a five-year deal which means he still have about four years left on his current deal.

Following his impressive performance in the past season, the player has been heavily linked with a potential move to Sundowns who are believed to be making a bid to City for the player.

Speaking to Kicksoff Magazine Comitis has ruled out any possible moves of the player to Downs.

He insisted that the player is too big to play in South Africa as he believes that he should be playing in Europe and has insisted that he is not going to entertain any offers.

"I am not going to listen to any mediocre offers. He is staying with us. He is going to help us in Africa next season as well," added Comitis.
