News that has just reached the media are that the Tshwane side could reportedly be set to sell their status before the upcoming season begins.

According to Sports Briefly, SuperSport United are on a verge of selling their status before the 2022-23 season begins.
SuperSport United CEO, Stan Matthew previously rubbished the rumours about the club considering selling their status due to financial issues.
Despite slamming those rumours, however, it has been revealed that the club has been looking to sell their status for the past three years.
After parting ways with the Zimbabwean coach, Kaitano Tembo, who was later appointed as the new head coach Sekhukhune United, SuperSport United are yet to appoint a new coach.
They have been linked with a couple of well experienced coaches, including Benni McCarthy, Gavin Hunt and also Fadlu Davids, however, they are yet to make a decision about the coaching department.
