Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the club's new head coach ahead of next season.
Amakhosi have been without a head coach for a couple of weeks following the departure of Stuart Baxter.
Arthur Zwane has been in charge of the club on interim basis after the departure of Baxter few weeks ago.
However in the early hours of Thursday, Amakhosi confirmed the club's new head coach.
Chiefs confirmed that Zwane will take the head coach role and the former Amakhosi winger will still be in charge of the club in the new season.
Zwane is much familiar with the big seat at the club after he also took over from Gavin Hunt last season after the former Bidvest Wits coach was sacked by the club.
Zwane also took over from Ernst Middendorp few seasons ago until he was replaced by Hunt.
It does not come as a surprise that the club have chosen Zwane as the permanent head coach as the Club's fans have been calling for the club to give Zwane a chance to lead the club.
Zwane has also achieved a lot with Amakhosi as a coach after taking the club to the finals of CAF champions League final last season where they lost against the Egyptian Giants Al Ahly.
Zwane also secured a top eight finish for Amakhosi last season after taking over from Hunt where the club was struggling in the domestic campaign.
The coach will be aiming to bring the success he had with the club as a player.
However he will be faced with a huge responsibility as the club have not won a silverware in the last seven seasons and the coach will be expected to put an end to the club's standing trophy draught.
It was only fair for both parties to give Zwane the head coach role since he knows the ins and outs of the club.
