Mama Joy Chauke maintains there was no transfer fee after dumping Orlando Pirates for PSL rival

Mama Joy Chauke maintains there was no transfer fee after leaving Orlando Pirates for a PSL opponent.

The Limpopo-born supporter revealed that the club's president, MaMkhize, had motivated her.Joy 'Mama Joy' Chauke, one of Orlando Pirates' most ardent supporters, surprised the South African football community when she declared that she would now be supporting Royal AM.Chauke, also known as Mama Joy, has been a die-hard Pirates fan for almost 30 years and is often regarded as the face of Bucs fans.On Thursday, however, she revealed that she had broken her ties with the Black and White army and is now a supporter of Royal AM.

Mama Joy, a major Bafana Bafana supporter, made the news on Newsroom Africa, and she has since been chastised for her decision to abandon one of the country's most popular football clubs.Mama Joy is the talk of the town." They'll talk and they'll be quiet, but oksalayo [the reality is] I'm a Royal AM supporter," Chauke said in an interview with Sowetan on Friday. They can talk, they can do whatever they want because they weren't there when I made my decision, but if it's a change, it's a change. There isn't anything you can do about it.I went to Bara Mall today and encountered a large number of supporters. Some said, 'Hey Majestic,' while others said, 'Hey sell-out.It's pleasant. I'm a friendly person who engages in conversation with everyone. It's also a little bit of football banter.

Royal AM is owned by Shauwn Mkhize, a prominent businesswoman who purchased Bloemfontein Celtic's PSL status at the start of the current season.

Chauke stated that she was not given money in exchange for leaving Pirates, despite reports that Royal AM club president Mkhize gave her a 'transfer fee.'

There was no charge for the transfer. 'Andile, what do you want for Black Friday?' MaMkhize allegedly asked her son Andile [Mpisane] on social media. "And he said, 'Buy Mama Joy,' but MaMkhize didn't," she explained. She didn't approach me. "I went to MaMkhize," says the narrator. Those who know me are aware of my decision and support it. Even some Pirates No. 1 supporters. That is exactly what I require because it is my decision to make and I have made it.
