Player leaves Orlando Pirates with a heavy heart and wants to prove they made a mistake

Playing for a big club like Orlando Pirates is considered as a huge milestone for any South African footballer.

Having been given that chance, Linda Mntambo grabbed that opportunity with both hands.

But in a sudden twist of events, the Bucaneers released him and he has found a new home.

The talented Mntambo clearly leaves the Bucaneers with a heavy heart if his farewell letter is anything to go by.

He recently took to his Facebook page to wave goodbye to Orlando Pirates chairman Dr Irvine Khoza.

He stated that he is really saddened him when he learnt of his fate that he had been axed.

But he seems to have moved on and he is willing to give it all to his new club.

“It is a new chapter, and I just want to write my name into the history books of Babina Noko, make a statement, and ensure that I make myself happy, my family proud, the community I come from, and above all, the team," he said.

Mntambo is expected to be a vital cog for Sekhukhune United and resurrect his fading career.
