Amakhosi have decided to sign young players Lebohang Lesako and Darrel Matsheke, who both spent the previous season on loan at GladAfrica Championship side, Uthongathi. Arthur Zwane's first team has added eight new faces and released 12 players from last season.

Close sources have revealed that the two players, both 23 years old, would spend the 2022–2023 season with Swallows FC on loan after the Chiefs decided to give them a chance to grow and experience more.

Darrel Matsheke is being loaned to the Swallows. The deal is finalized, and the player will start playing for his new team soon, the insider said.

He and Lesako are both relocating to Swallows. Both players will remain with Swallows for the remainder of the current campaign. Both parties are receiving loans from the Chiefs, the insider continued.

As part of the adjustments being made at Naturena in advance of the new season, Kaizer Chiefs have decided on two additional players.
