Are the Chiefs planning to offload strikers to make room for the newcomers?

The Kaizer Chiefs football club might use some new reinforcements to their assault, as the current season hasn't gone well for the club's attackers, with none of the strikers reaching double figures.

In actuality, the club's forwards failed to impress, scoring two goals each, with Samir Nurkovic scoring one, David Leonardo Castro scoring none, and Lazarous Kambole scoring one.

Only Khama Billiat has scored as many goals for the club this season as Keagan Dolly, the team's most outstanding player. The club scored 32 goals in 29 games, which is embarrassing for a team with Kaizer Chiefs' reputation.

Due to their lack of goals this season, they are now aiming for a CAF qualifying with one match remaining, hoping to beat Royal AM and Cape Town City FC. This season, Kaizer Chiefs scored 21 fewer goals in the league than Mamelodi Sundowns, the DStv Premiership champions. This is not what Kaizer Chiefs stands for, as they are known for having top-scoring strikers in the past.

Samir Nurkovic has only scored one goal this season, and his second goal was close to being awarded in the same game as his first. Nurkovic had a successful first season with Kaizer Chiefs, scoring double figures, but goals dried up for the striker towards the end of the season.
