Perhaps it was a way of celebrating the unending victory but the Royal AM players felt embarrassed and humiliated.
After MaMKhize’s Royal AM team won the KZN Derby, The flamboyant business woman along with her son ran to the stage with a brown bag filled with stacks of cash. The aim was to shower the players with the hard cash in front of cameras. One of the players was heard asking the coach to tell MaMkhize not to come with the cash in the field. Which makes sense because if they wanted to celebrate their players then they should’ve nicely packaged the money and rewarded them in private. But because they are content creators, they wanted cameras to capture them leaving their players feeling ashamed.
This left many people declaring themselves as Royal AM supporters hoping that one day they will be at the receiving end. The hardworking MaMkhize sure deserves all the wins with all the work and dedication she’s been putting on both her teams but at some point she needs to be professional as pulling such stunts may bring negativity to her football business.
