Orlando Pirates fans are expecting to have their club reinforced with more players having the option to add to the squad for the coming matches this season, as affirmed by the club's co-mentor Fadlu Davids.
Subsequent to seeing some improvement in their results in late fixtures, having scored three goals in their past league match when they beat Stellenbosch FC 3-0 last week and in the wake of scoring two goals in their 2-0 triumph in the CAF Confederation Cup against LPRC Oilers of Liberia last end of the week, the Buccaneers were brought practical by Kgoloko Thobejane's Baroka FC on Thursday in the wake of playing a 0-0 draw in Orlando.
With a portion of the Pirates players who have been harmed gradually returning, the technical team is expecting an additional lift, with any semblance of Vincent Pule, Thembinkosi Lorch, Zakhele Lepasa and Richard Ofori likewise expected to join the remainder of their partners in full preparing soon.
Inquired as to whether the club will be checking out making signings in the January move window to add to the group, Davids said the Buccaneers have sufficient quality if every one of the players would be accessible for choice and remain sans injury.
"I figure the exchange window… we'll get some extraordinary signings in and inside assuming you take Pule could be back, in the event that you take Lorch being back, in case you take Lepasa being back, in case you take Ofori being back. Let's face it, Lepasa, Lorch, Pule, that is our firing line front and center three and it's reasonable we're missing them. Those are the lift that we will get in January with all our fundamental players returning," said Davids, addressing the media.
