Rushwin Dortley, a teenage defender for Cape Town Spurs who had a spectacular season for his GladAfrica Championship team, reportedly caught the attention of Kaizer Chiefs football club.
Due to his above-and-beyond efforts for his Cape Town-based team, the teenage defender transformed from an averagely skilled player to a highly sought-after star.
Chiefs reportedly chased the rising star with the intention of maybe adding him to their roster before the 2022–23 season, but the 20–year–old defender's agents pushed for a transfer abroad rather than seeking for a local team for the defender.
In addition, Dortley's achievements earned him a spot in Bafana Bafana's preliminary roster for the COSAFA Cup competition later this month. The young kid is now scheduled to try with Danish clubs as he travels to Europe in the hopes of signing abroad.
Chiefs might be keeping a close eye on his trial with the foreign clubs.
