Pleasant news coming from the Cape Town City camp is that returnee winger Aubrey Ngoma is close to making it to the pitch after a lengthy spell without playing any football.
The 31 years old endured the toughest time of his career at Mamelodi Sundowns where he failed to make it to the starting 11 to a point where he last played in February last year.
Ngoma had joined the Brazilians after a stellar season with the Citizens but things did not go according to plan. Jan Olde Riekerink has revealed that he will be using him very soon.
"I expect he will be part of the match squad in a very short time, so that means he's ready to play," responded the Dutch tactician, when quizzed over Ngoma's readiness.
However the former Orlando Pirates winger who is on loan at the Citizens this time around won't play against Supersport United this weekend. He is likely to play in a friendly after the weekend
City play Matsatsantsa at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night, kickoff at 17h00.
