MTN 8 Semi-Finalists Fixtures Revealed
Kaizer Chiefs dropped out of the top 8 competition with flying colors on Sunday Evening after a very long game that stretched to three Penalties after the score ended at 2:2 when the game was done.
Sundowns will have to play Lamonville Golden Arrows in a two-legged tie in Pretoria and Kwa Zulu Natal. Since stadiums are not yet opened people will have to watch this game on their Televisions and cellphones so they can catch up with everyone else.
Orlando Pirates also came down crashing from the competition, they lost to swallows who were just cutthroat on Saturday evening. Swallows will have to play against Cape Town City, as Benny suffered a very bad loss when they thought they would just cruise through the Cape as they did in the league last season when they became number 2 on the table last season.
Golden Arrows had to work very hard to make it to the Semi’s, they defeated Supersport united by pure luck, but the club sold Grant Kekana to Sundowns now they cannot win games.
Swallows and Cape Town City is going to be one of those games that will be very enjoyable to watch, actually, it will be a blockbuster, both teams won their games in open play, they are better prepared than all the other teams, even the physicality of the players like Vuyo Mere who is 36 but still running faster than 21 years olds who are fresh out of the Academy.
Analysts like Junior Khanyi predicted that Kaizer Chiefs will lose to Sundowns on his Diski TV show, he also predicted that Swallows will win the game against Orlando Pirates, we should wait for his next predictions for the Semi’s f which the dates will be confirmed on the MTN 8 Twitter page.
