Retired ex-Bucs star brought mopani worms as his snack to his workplace

In South Africa many PSL players are blessed with healthy genetics. During the course of their nomadic careers they become more aware of what they put inside their body so that they can compete at the highest level.

Each and every day they usually consume foods which contain carbohydrates, proteins and fats. In most cases they always avoid consuming junk foods and fizzy drinks.

As one of the most celebrated footballers of his generation former Orlando Pirates forward Phumudzo Manezhe is one of the many in the industry who ventured into punditry post his playing days. As of late the 37 year old Matombidza born former footballer is currently employed as an analyst on SABC Sport, soccer zone and a commentator on Radio 2000.

During his busy schedule on the small screens and on radio the former Orlando Pirates forward makes you feels as if you part of the action and even makes a 0-0 draw worth tuning in for. However, his main duties are not limited to sitting in a warm studio or pitchside during a live match, watch football, talk about it and get paid as it takes hours to master the craft.

On Wednesday the former Orlando Pirates forward has since taken to Instagram to share a series of pictures of his Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) commentary or match build up script. Taking to the popular platinum Phumudzo Manezhe would go to share that during his snack break he had the opportunity of having Mopani worms which are considered as Limpopo's favourite snack.

Through sources we have since had the privilege to learn that this species of emperor moth can be eaten dried as a snack and can also be eaten cooked as part of a dish. Furthermore we had the privilege to learn that they are mostly found during the summer season.
