'This Sundowns Star Is Back At Training Amid Uncertainty Over His Future.

Despite the Uncertainty Regarding His Future, Sundowns' Star Is Back in Training.

A highly-desired midfielder has resumed training with Mamelodi Sundowns, despite the fact that his long-term future at Chloorkop remains unclear.

After taking some time off during the off-season, the Tshwane giants got back together again the week before last to begin their training camp at the University of Pretoria in preparation for the 2021/22 season.

Sundowns forward Sibusisio Vilakazi, the direction of whose career has been unclear for the past few months, has joined the team for preseason training in Chloorkop.

The 32-year-old player made the announcement on social media that he would be returning to the Sundowns training grounds.

The contract that Vilakazi had with Sundowns was terminated at the end of June, and according to the Siya crew, the club had a deadline to execute the option that was included in his contract; nevertheless, discussions are still taking place.

Because playing time is not guaranteed for Vilakazi, it is possible that he will leave the club. Several clubs, including Sekhukhune United, have already inquired about the prospect of acquiring his services.

Vila, who has won five league titles, the MTN8, and a CAF Super Cup, will continue to train with Sundowns, and the club is about to disclose their plans for the seasoned attacker. Vila has won a total of three major tournaments in his career.
