Ten short reasons why Kaizer Chiefs fans should take it easy.

Last week, Kaizer Chiefs looked like they couldn't lose, but then they lost at Loftus on Saturday. Here are ten reasons why Amakhosi needs to calm down.

BRIGHT START BEFORE LOFTUS EMBARRASSMENT

Even though they lost the first game of the season, the Glamour Boys started strong at Royal AM and then made Maritzburg United look like little kids in a 3-0 win at FNB last week.

Last Saturday at Loftus, Mamelodi Sundowns beat Amakhosi 4-0. This brought them back down to earth.

Some fans felt like the new era had failed all of a sudden. Some people have even questioned how good of a coach Arthur Zwane is.

10 REASONS KAIZER CHIEFS FANS SHOULD RELAX

Mamelodi Sundowns, the best team in South Africa, has had the same technical team since 2020.

It takes two to three years for a new project to bear fruit.

On average, it takes three transfer windows to build a new team, not one.

Most new players settle in during their second season with a new team.

Kaizer Chiefs can still sign at least one more striker until September 22.

Coach Zwane hasn't found his best starting eleven yet.

The starting team will soon help put together a good way to play.

It will take a lot of games for the new back four defense to get used to each other.

At this point in the season, every opponent gives it their all until the quality of the teams starts to show.

As a PSL head coach, Zwane is still getting better.

So, it's too soon to either go crazy on social media after one great performance or give up on someone after one bad performance. Fans should be ready for a lot of highs and lows.

The Glamour Boys are getting ready for a trip to Durban at the same time. On Saturday, August 20, at 8:00 p.m., the club will play Richards Bay at home at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
