Grobler drops a bombshell about Gabuza

SuperSport United are on a rebuilding exercise with Kaitano Tembo in charge of the ship.

But their progress were dented after they lost charismatic midfielder Tebogo Mokoena

Mokoena was recently signed by reigning league champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

They now need to reinforce their squad with more arsenal if they are to win anything this season.

In an exclusive interview with the Sowetan, striker Bradley Grobler spoke about his partnership with Thamsanqa Gabuza.

Grobler and Gabuza have been one of the reasons SuperSport have thrived over the past few seasons.

Gabuza was heavily linked with a move away from the Pretoria outfit after he impressed during the first half of the DStv Premiership 2021/22 season. The striker has netted six times in 18 matches so far.

Gabuza told the publication he would be very disappointed should Gabuza leave the club.

“If he leaves it would be disappointing, he’s a great guy on the field and has done extremely well; I enjoy playing with him," he said.

He added that Gabuza was sorely focused on his career at SuperSport.

“I can say many nice things about him, I have played with many players over the years and he’s one guy I would never forget. I think he’ll stay at SuperSport,” said Grobler.
