The 2021/2022 season was just another season where Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club continued its dominance over South African top-tier football, as the Brazilians won all the three available domestic trophies last season as they completed a treble for the first time since their dominance started back in 2012.
Masandawana's dominance has been down to the club's ability to sign top and talented players in the country and abroad, and some of those players are former Supersport United Football Club players, Grant Kekana and Tebogo Mokoena.
The duo joined Sundowns before the start of the 2021/2022 season and midway through last season respectively, and went on to play a huge part in the club winning a treble.
Like most of their fellow Sundowns and PSL players, Mokoena decided to go abroad to celebrate his last few days of the preseason holidays before returning to start their preseason, as the 25-year-old is in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates where he is enjoying his time with his fellow Sundowns teammate, Aubrey Modiba who is also in Dubai.
With the players expected to arrive in South Africa in a few days, they were joined by another Sundowns teammate who was also their teammate at Supersport, Grant Kekana.
Kekana who recently won his first cap for South Africa was having a conversation with Mokoena in one of the restaurants in Dubai.
Mokoena shared the video clip of the two meeting on his Instagram story, @mokoena_28.
This just shows where Sundowns is compared to other clubs in the country, as their players are taking trips to the finest places which do not come cheap, and them taking them shows how rich the club is.
While as for Kekana joining his ex-Supersport teammates in Dubai, will see the trio return to the country rejuvenated, and oozing with confidence.
