Three Games in Eight Days!
The DStv Premiership game list for Orlando Pirates has been changed due to the team's participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.
We aren't focusing as much on the league these days because we are so preoccupied with CCC issues that we will be fielding primarily unused players in the final league games!
The Pirates v Maritzburg match would be fascinating if Baroka beats Maritzburg at Harry Gwala and Swallows beat Chiefs. The relegation struggle could end up in court, resulting in this fixture disaster.
For me, the Pirates' remaining opponents have an unfair advantage over their competing teams in terms of log positions. Win or lose, 4 Pirates in the final have no goals in the PSL, top 8 seems to be a sealed.
That means Pirates will conclude their remaining league matches when the rest of the clubs have completed their seasons, with the exception of those three Pirates opponents.
