Sundowns star joins Messi and Pogba

It is the dream of every soccer player to one day be recognized for his talent by the world of soccer, as evidenced by soccer players like Lionel Messi, Neymar Junior, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

They are all anticipated to perform better than any other player in the league and this is shown in the attention given to these players, which include Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and three Kaizer Chiefs teams.

Denis Onyango, the Sundowns captain and starting goalkeeper, is a highly rated goalkeeper in South Africa and beyond Africa.

It was in 2013 that Onyango made his first appearance in Brazil's starting line-up, but he had to compete with Kennedy Mweene for the No. 1 spot for the first time since joining the club in 2011.

Nine trophies have been won by the former Ugandan male senior national team player, including five league championships and the 2016 CAF Champions League in his 11th year with the club.

The Sundowns goalkeeper joins Lionel Messi of Argentina and Paul Pogba of France as Pepsi ambassadors in Uganda. They are both members of the Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United football teams.

Hard work and perseverance will always pay off if you're patient enough to wait for them to.

For new players, Onyango acts as a role model for those who desire achievement more than they desire a successful career, rather than the other way around.
