Kaizer Chiefs gets hit by COVID

Kaizer Chiefs bails out of the PSL as COVID-19 hits the famous football club.

Report :

Kaizer Chiefs have been hit with COVID-19 cases. The club has reported 31 cases and is appealing to the PSL to postpone five upcoming league games in December. The club says it doesn't have sufficient players nor a technical team to constitute a team.

This new COVID will disrupt plans and processes.

“They don't want to lose points that's all. This foolish club thinks they can catch Sundowns”, says Vuyo, who thinks this is a plot to avoid further losses.

“They must bring out a system so that the unvaxed can recognize the vaccinated so they can avoid them, seems like the vaccinated are the carriers and spreaders”, says Deon, who wants people to go through rigorous testing to ensure the games continue.

“How are they not vaccinated? Isn't the vaccine the remedy to this? I am not impressed with how eNCA conducts their news reports. Its always close to myths”, Mosa asks.

“Teams aren’t strict to those players who go to the groove”, Says Teboho, who feels that the governing parties aren't being strict enough to ensure that the football club continues without disturbances.

“Mysterious everything is happening just after the elections”, states Lindo, who is both shocked and saddened by the news.

“The whole team has covid? Like yonke yonke?”, Sharon asks in disbelief also.

“They claim don't have sufficient players? The old crocks are those sufficient players maybe? They should use all the youngsters”, says one enraged supporter.

PSL DC knows what to do in cases like this. Last year Cape failed to field a team against Cape Town Spur. Three points awarded to Spur.

Rules are clear. What do you think of this? Are you a Kaizer Chiefs fan?
