What is it that Billiat has to advise his teammates about?

The combination of Billiat and Dolly has been very productive for the team as they have been assisting each other in scoring goals.

Following the Soweto giants got up close to Mamelodi Sundowns in the PSL standings, Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat says they can't afford to get ahead of themselves.

The Glamour Boys improved their chances of fighting for the PSL title this season by winning the Soweto Derby 3-1 on Sunday, moving them into second position in the league rankings, eight points below leaders Sundowns.

Billiat, who won three PSL titles with Sundowns before joining Gauteng rivals Chiefs in 2017, advised his teammates to remain focused this season as Amakhosi attempt to end their seven-year trophy drought.

"We are sufficiently professional." Isn't it true that we used to rejoice when we were younger? Billiat informed the club's media department, "Presently, we rejoice in a professional manner."

"We don't have to go out there and party like the league is over. We must maintain our concentration. We have a good group, and I always have faith in my players; whether I play or not, we are confident in the outcome, and we try harder as we always do.

"I'm glad for the club, and I'm pleased that we're continuing to improve." We are aware of each other's significance in obtaining the maximum number of points."

Already this season, Chiefs have seemed like a better team under two-time PSL champion Stuart Baxter, and Billiat emphasized the necessity of remaining calm and winning matches regularly.

"We're not staring at the table, so it's not simple. Right now, we'd like to concentrate on the things that the coaches really need to do and on mastering the fundamentals "The ex-Zimbabwe international kept going.

"This will always assist us in achieving good outcomes and accomplishments, following which we will review the standings. We shall remain focused and humble while continuing to work hard for the team."

On Saturday, Chiefs will face Cape Town City in a PSL match at the famous FNB Stadium.
