Bafana Bafana is set for a very big sitting on Tuesday that might take them to the FIFA World Cup which will be taking place next year in Qatar. Bafana Bafana was just on the edge of advancing to the final qualifying rounds of the FIFA World Cup 2022 but that was taken away from them after they failed to beat Ghana this month. Bafana Bafana went to Ghana with the hopes of winning or at least drawing the game but the Black Stars were too good for them.
SAFA has since lodged a complaint about a lot of things and decisions that were taken by the match officials during the game. SAFA also addressed the media just after the game was played and made it clear to the public that there are almost 80% wrong decisions that were made against Bafana Bafana while a few wrong decisions were taken against Ghana. The president of SAFA made it clear to the media that they did not lodge this complaint against Ghana just on the basis of the penalty decision that was given to Ghana but they mentioned that there were a lot of suspicious things that occurred before and during the match.
According to Sunday World, FIFA is expected to sit and discuss everything that is pertaining to the match between Ghana and Bafana Bafana. This also means that Bafana Bafana is not very far from knowing whether they can have a replay match against Ghana or their dream of playing in the FIFA World Cup next year will vanish just like that. Many Bafana Bafana fans highlighted that Hugo Broos will need to make quick tactical changes should FIFA rule positive news for them. Many fans have also highlighted that there are still some chances that the decision may remain as it is now.
