Orlando Pirates who advanced to the final of the CAF Confederations Cup despite the controversial penalty denial in their match against Al Ahli Tripoli from Libya , Zambian Football Association has confirmed that the Zambian controversial referee who ended the match in the 85th minutes between Mali and Tunisia in the Africa Cup Of Nations in Cameroon ,will be on the field to officiate CAF Confederations Cup final.
Janny Sikazwe made headlines when he blew the whistle twice to end the match in the 85th minutes and again in the 90th minutes.Orlando Pirates will meet the Moroccan giants Rs Berkane in the final on the 20 May 2022.The controversial referee will be assisted by Jarson Emiliano from Angola and Arsenio Chadreque from Mozambique.
Video Assistant Referees are from Egypt , Mahmoud Ashor , Ebouelregac and Eibana.Rs Berkane advanced to the final after beating TP Mazembe from Democratic Republic of Congo 4-2 on aggregate.
