Charlotte Flair is slated to challenge Rhea Ripley for Raw Women's Title

Charlotte Flair is slated to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women’s Title at tonight’s WWE Hell during a Cell pay-per-view event.

To promote it, she did an interview with Sports Illustrated. Flair made it known that while she had a feud with Ripley last year that saw her win the NXT Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36, she’s glad that they needan opportunity to inform a deeper story.

She noted, “I am disappointed with how our story played call at NXT.” However, she does love their WrestleMania 36 match because she is going to mention it for years to return .

Flair stated that now's the time to informtheir story and she or he must bring the simplest she has got to do what's needed for this story. She thinks they need to bring out the simplest in one another so Ripley can take the ball and run with it within the future also as make a reputation for herself.

“I feel a private responsibility to form sure she may be a star. once I was in her spot, I remember how fragile and nervous and uncomfortable i used to be . I remember seeing Nikki Bella walking out and thinking, ‘She may be a such a star.’ once I held the Divas championship, I felt love it owned me. I wish someone would have say, ‘Come at me and convince me who you're .’ i would like to try to to that for Rhea. I keep hearing she’s the longer term , so let’s leave there and see it.”

Flair stated that she wants to outdo what she has already done and thinks they will have a far better match than they did at WrestleMania 36.

“Now we've a story behind us. We’re getting to steal the show. this is often getting to be the match of the night.”

Flair also talked about missing WrestleMania 37, the women’s division, and more.
