Baxter: We Misunderstood The Game Plan

Kaizer Chiefs lead trainer Stuart Baxter concedes their first-half exhibition demonstrates they are not near turning into the genuine article yet.

Chiefs guaranteed consecutive successes in the DStv Premiership interestingly this season in the wake of overcoming SuperSport United on account of Bernard Parker's support.

Notwithstanding getting the success out and about, Baxter was not dazzled with Chiefs' first-half exhibition.

"It was much more intense for me in the principal half," Baxter told SuperSport TV.

"I thought we were disconnected. We misconstrued the blueprint. We had a visit at half-time and I think the subsequent half was vastly improved strategically. We looked significantly more risky in any event, when we were playing with a low square.

"I thought the players in the subsequent half gave a decent exhibition.

Baxter additionally gave a report on the wounds after Parker and Khama Billiat were taken off.

"It's speedier to specify the fit players than the harmed players. The nearest to returning are Dube and Leo Castro. They back at full preparing yet they must get themselves match fit so we're sitting tight for them.

"We don't have the foggiest idea how terrible Bernard's is. It's somewhat of a hamstring. Khama's shouldn't be really awful in light of the fact that we took him off as an insurance to get some new legs on.

"I think the chaps put their bodies at risk so they might get harmed.

"See, we should not get out of hand. First half showed we have far to go before we are the genuine article. We're awesome now and again when we do the work appropriately. We switch off at too often and lose our certainty and our conviction. We must dispose of that. We are gradually disposing of it and the outcomes are appearing."
