Linda Mntambo has now officially left Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
He was announced earlier this afternoon as a Sekhukhune United player. He hopes to pick up the pieces and improve his game with Sekhukhune.
Mntambo is one of the most hurtful oh go profile players to have left the Bucaneers ship during the current off-season transfer window.
He scored eight goals and provided six assists during his time at the Bucaneers. He played 71 times.
The soccer genius has since penned a letter to Orlando Pirates club chairman Dr Irvine Khoza.
"With a heavy heart, it saddens me that I have to part ways with the club that I grew up supporting, a club that is not only dear to my heart but my family as well," he said.
The 33 year old added that he hoped to used the opportunity at Sekhukhune to improve his game.
"I am happy to have received your blessings as we part ways. I trust that those remaining at the club will carry the club’s badge with pride and joy as I will also do so at my new home," he added.
Saying goodbye is indeed one of the most painful things to endure.
