Football fans were curious on twitter after South African national team goalkeeper Ronwen Williams posted a picture of himself wearing a black and white kit. Fans were busy asking if he has joined Orlando Pirates or at least considering a making a move to the Soweto giants.
The Supersport-United goalkeeper has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the country and he is currently preferred over the South African legend Itumeleng Khune in the national team. He won the Goalkeeper of the year awards in two preceding years and he is monitored by many clubs from abroad.
Williams has over 300 appearances for Supersport United and he recently extended his contract at the club so it’s highly unlikely that he will be joining Orlando Pirates who seemed to be having problems in the goalkeeping department before acquiring the services of Ofori. Moving to the buccaneers would be a great move for Williams but he looks happy at supersport.
