Zimbabwean billionaire set to buy the Dstv Premiership club [Rumours]


News reaching the media are that SuperSport United might be set to sell their club as it has been reported that the Zimbabwean businessman is willing to buy the Pretoria side.

According to iDiski times, there might be a major change in the South African Premier Soccer League side, SuperSport United.

It is believed that the Zimbabwean billionaire, Strive Masiyiwa is willing to buy SuperSport United, however, the Premier Soccer League executive committee has to first approve the purchase.

Over the years, Matsatsantsa has been struggling financially, which has forced the club to selling their best players in order to make sure the club survives in the top flight.

Recently, the club sold their big players, including Grant Kekana, Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena and the SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is also believed to be on his way to the Pretoria based side, Mamelodi Sundowns.

It was also reported that the Zimbabwean billionaire is not willing to change the name of SuperSport United.
