Kaizer Chiefs is one of Mzansi's biggest football clubs. It was founded by former soccer player Kaizer Motaung. The club is one of the best examples of a family club with Motaung's children all playing a role in the running of the club. Motaung's son Bobby is the team manager, his daughter Jessica is the marketing director and a director on the board, his daughter Kemiso is the team's head of digital while his youngest son Kaizer is the sporting director and was once a player on the team.
First division side Jomo Cosmos was founded by former player Ephraim Jomo Sono. Jomo's elder son Bamuza works as the team's team manager and was formerly a player on the team while his younger son, Jomo Jr plays for the club.
TS Galaxy are owned by lawyer and entrepreneur Tim Sukazi. Tim acts as the club's chairman and his wife Dudu acts as the club's marketing director.
PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns are owned by billionaire and presenter of CAF, Patrice Motsepe. Motsepe's son Tlhopi Motsepe acts as the team's chairman.
Royal AM is a PSL club owned by Shawn Mpisane. The club's chairman is her son Andile.
