Discarded Chiefs players find new home

Pretoria Callies have completed the signing of discarded Kaizer Chiefs duo Itumeleng Shopane and Sizwe Twala after becoming free agents.

Both players were shown the exit door before the recent transfer deadline last month after new coach Stuart Baxter they would not feature in his plans.

Shopane and Twala both spent last season on loan before being recalled by Chiefs.

Callies spokesperson, Doctor Maphalle confirmed the Romans' new additions.

"Yes both of them signed with the club this week, Maphalle tells Kickoff.com.

"I am not sure on the duration of their contracts. But I can confirm yes both players now belong to Pretoria Callies.

Pretoria Callies are yet to register their first league victory for the season after being beaten 2-1 by JDR Stars in Tshwane.

For me Baxter haven't win his players they do not look as a team his technical team it's very far to him another thing Baxter is disrespecting Quality players.

he does not believe to young players until he change his attitude and start something new then then results will change sometimes we understand when you lose but lose with dignity.

You lost it when you put that Agay guy, that you man nkosipile ngcobo wanted to make team play, but it was too late, your so called trusted players failed big time, let me remind you mr coach,we know we are not qualified for any type of coaching.

But if you are not going to drop players who underperforming because of their names or their big salary they are earning chiefs will never be the best again mark my words, sundowns will continue with their dominance in DSTV PL.

First it was the league now supercup next champions league downfall has started soon him n tau will b back in South Africa n only team dt can sign them it's chiefs cz they good in signing failers from overseas.

Good selection I believe. I like His strategy, calling up players that are performing well in their various clubs and most importantly, no old furniture are being given attention.

He might be old, but I think he is taking us to the right direction, with this selection, I dont see us loosing to Ethiopia both home and away. And I get a strong feeling that we will qualify for world cup.
