Ciro Immobile, a striker for Italy and Lazio, was observed in Rome distributing Easter gifts to children.

Ciro Immobile, the Lazio captain, commemorated the Christian festival and cultural holiday remembering Jesus' resurrection from the dead by presenting gifts to children in Rome.

This generous gesture from the Italy international has elicited mixed comments from football fans, with some hailing him as a true Christian and others hailing him as a nice man both on and off the field.

Here are a few screenshots of fan reactions:

After scoring a triple trick in Lazio's 4-1 victory against Genoa in their most recent Serie A match, the 32-year-old is the current Capocannoniere (Serie A's top goal scorer).

Ciro Immobile has scored 24 goals in Serie A this season, two more than second-placed Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus.
