According to a trusted source, Manyisa is close to a move to newly promoted side Swallows FC, following his unceremonious release from TTM, after the Venda-based club realised they could not afford his hefty salary. The player was earning a reported R350 000 per month at Sundowns, and it's unclear if he took a pay cut at TTM.
“They are talking. But I am not sure how far they are with their negotiations. He would obviously be a good addition for my team as we all know his capabilities. But the stumbling block could be that Swallows have already signed too many players and are already getting stick for it,” said a source.

The former Pirates captain had joined the Limpopo-based from Sundowns after spending the last few seasons warming the bench after he was consistently overlooked by former coach Pitso Mosimane.
However, TTM still have not provided clarity on whether Manyisa's still their player or he has officially, with Chairman Masala Mulaudzi indicating that the player's matter is of a sensitive nature.

“Oupa Manyisa’s issue is very sensitive due to the fact that we respect him and he respects us. Mr Manyisa still has some other outstanding issues that still have to be completed between him and the management‚ hence he is not here,” Mulaudzi said.
Where do you think Manyisa will be playing this season?
