Mamelodi Sundowns announce one striker, loans out another.

After weeks of delays and fans questioning of his whereabouts, Mamelodi Sundowns have finally announced the arrival of Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nassir whom they signed from Ethiopian Coffee last season.

The young striker was signed last season by the Brazilians but remained in Ethiopia with Ethiopian Coffee as part of a loan deal. Following the finalization of all documents and paperworks, the striker is ready to join the yellow Nation this season.

With rumours indicating that Nassir was going to be loaned out again to create foreign space, it appears that will not be happening and Nassir will be part of the Mamelodi Sundowns set up this season.

Contrary to his arrival, another striker has gone out on loan. Etiosa Ighodaro has been snatched up by Chipp United on a loan deal for this season and the club has already announced his arrival.

With all these transfer activities, the DSTV Premiership defending champions are still awaiting the arrival of Marcelo Allende who is a midfielder signed on a record fee.
