Leeds United pulled a huge shock on Saturday as they defeated table toppers Manchester City 2-1.
Man City's loss mean that they remain 14 points ahead of neighbours Manchester United who [as of 10 April] have two games in hand. Should Man United win both games in hand, they will cut Man City's lead to 8 points. with 6 games to go. If the gap between the Manchester clubs can be cut this short, it will definitely make an excellent ending to the season of the Premier League.
On the other hand, Manchester United are not really winning their matches convincingly. That would make a lot of people doubt that they might be able to upset The Cityzens. In their last match, the faced off against Brighton & Hove Albion. They might have won but they have a tendency of conceding first and at times they are very slow in attack.
On Sunday, they face Jose Mourinho's Tottenham who thumped them 6-1 last time they met. Form favours Manchester United. Tottenham have been struggling n the league and might not make the top 4.
If Manchester United really want to challenge for the Premier League title, they have Tottenham to start with. Being 8 points behind with 6 games to go, no doubt Pep Guardiola's men will be shaking. Man United are hopeful that they will win their next two matches to get close to City.
