Bloemfontein Celtic Players And Staff Told To Pack Their Bags

Royal AM boss Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize now has the future of Bloemfontein Celtic players and technical staff in her hands.

Last Friday, the TV celebrity and businesswoman purchased the status of Siwelele to assure Royal AM's PSL campaign, by hook or by crook.

The outspoken Mamkhize paved her way to the land of milk and honey while still fighting in court to have AM named GladAfrica Champions instead of Sekhukhune United, who had been promoted.

Celtic players and other members of the technical staff told SunSport that club boss Max Tshabalala shocked them when he delivered the bad news.

“We had a meeting with management, and we were told that we would all travel to Durban, where Mamkhize would decide whether or not we would keep our jobs,” said a distraught player who requested anonymity to avoid being targeted.

Another Celtic player claimed that having to read about their careers being on the line on social media was unprofessional.

“I first noticed this Celtic tale being promoted on social media and in weekend publications. I didn't take it seriously because the club's impending sale has always been openly discussed. When we were told that we needed to attend the meeting and that the club was moving to KZN, I was taken aback. I don't know if I'll get a job because Royal AM has their own players.”

Tshabalala never offered him a contract, according to a member of the technical staff.

“I've been working for Celtic without a contract for a few years now, and Max has failed to resolve the matter every time I've discussed it. How will I negotiate my contract with MamKhize if I don't have a contract that proves I'm a club employee?” The worried employee expressed his worry.
