Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United Thabo Cele has been confirmed at a new club. The player was a free agent for quite sometime. He was heavily linked with a move to both Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United. It was thought the 24-year-old Thabo Cele would join Kaizer Chiefs. The move to the Glamour boys did not materialise as things changed when coach Stuart Baxter made his own signing in Cole Alexander. Thabo Cele has signed a contract with Polish side Radomiak Radom. The 24-year-old midfielder Thabo Cele has signed a two-year contract deal with an option to extend for a further year.
Polish side Radomiak Radom released a club statement on their official website saying "24-year-old Thabo Cele has signed a contract with Radomiak Radom! The contract with the South African midfielder will last until the end of the 2022/2023 season with an option to extend it for one year." That is how part of the statement read.
