The Premier soccer League (PSL) log table had major changes following all games that took place this Saturday 21 May.
Some teams were playing their last games of the season, while some still have few games left to conclude their season.
Mamelodi Sundowns were among of the clubs that were playing their last games, however their game against Royal AM was postponed due to heavy rainfall in Kwazulu natal.
The Brazilians remain unshaken at the top of the log table and the club have already secured the league title and they are set to receive the DStv premiership trophy after they have played their last game of the season.
Cape Town City remained on second place despite tasting a defeat by their Cape Town rivals Stellenbosch FC.
The Citizens failed to cement their second place and the club will be hoping for the likes of Royal AM and Orlando Pirates to drop points.
Stellenbosch FC moved into the top three after claiming maximum points against the Citizens on Saturday afternoon.
The Stellies have collected a total of 47 points this season and the club will also be hoping that Royal AM and Pirates drop points to finish the season in the top three.
Chiefs finished their season in position four after failing to collect maximum points against Swallows.
Amakhosi missed the Golden opportunity to climb to second place after City dropped points against Stellenbosch.
Royal AM dropped to fifth place after their game against Sundowns was postponed due to heavy rains.
The likes of Marumo Gallants, Sekhukhune United and Maritzburg United finished their season outside of the top eight after.
TS Galaxy survived relegation after defeating Chippa United and the club finished their season on 13th place.
The Chilli boys also survived the axe despite losing to Galaxy.
Swallows FC will participate in the playoffs after finishing the season on 15th place.
Meanwhile Baroka suffered straight relegation after finishing the season at the rock bottom.
