There are many players that were selected by coach Hugo Broos that made a lot of people very happy and excited but some other talent was left out.
Bafana Bafana is playing against Ethiopia today away from home and they will be looking forward to maintaining their number one spot on Group G.
Bafana Bafana is currently sitting on number one of Group G after beating Ghana unexpectedly and drawing against Zimbabwe.
It means that if Bafana Bafana can be able to beat Ethiopia in these two games, the one that will be playing today and the one on the 12th, they will be standing a very good chance of winning the group.
There is of course a long way to go as they still need to face Ghana and Zimbabwe on the second leg.
As I have mentioned above, there are many players that could have been selected by the coach but they were left out.
Ngcobo to be specific has not found a lot of game time with coach Stuart Baxter and that might be the reason why he is left out of Bafana Bafana.
We all know what Ngcobo is capable of as we have seen him last season with Kaizer Chiefs as they went all the way to the final of the CAF champions league.
The Sundowns players that I have mentioned above have been on top form as well and they really deserve a national team call up.
Themba Zwane to be specific as well, was part of the squad sometime this year and he was eventually snubbed with players such as Hlatshwayo.
There is some hope that the coach may revise his squad and give chance to other players as well.
