Trouble in paradise for the Warriors Zimbabwean national team for them upcoming World Qualifiers where they will meet South African at home and Ethiopia away from home.

They will be without their striking force Knox Mutizwa and defender Butholezwe Ncubw who have contracted Covid 19 ahead of two fixtures and are still in isolation.

Mutizwa who plays for Goldern Arrows in the Premier Soccer League has managed to bang two goals this season for his club and will be dealy missed by the Warrios upfront.

Ncube who is at Usuthu Amazulu Football Club who is still awaiting to make get his start this season will also be a missed figure in defence.

However the worse damage sees a total of 11 players who will miss the qualifiers after thier Erupoean clubs prevented them from traveling back to thier countries

Marvellous Nakamba of English Premiership club Aston Villa along with Tendai Darikwa of Wigan Athletic, Bournemouth’s Jordan Zemura, Brendan Galloway (Plymouth Argyle), Ethan Kachosa (Sunderland), Macauley Bonne (Ipswich Town), Admiral Muskwe at Luton Town, and David Moyo who plays for Hamilton Academical in Scotland all couldn’t travel due to the stringent covid-19 travel restrictions in the United Kingdom when traveling from red-listed countries.

Also former Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe was also prevented to country of birth by his MLS club Huston Dynamo and thier front men Ovidy Karuru.

However this means the Warrios will rely on thier Knowledge Musona and Kharma Billiart in their attack.
