Kaizer Chiefs have stumbled upon a huge blessing, minutes after the news broke that their ban has been lifted.
Coach Gavin Hunt had already drew up a list of potential candidates that will strength in the upcoming window, but new player changes everything. The former player of the Eridivese champions and current middlefield playmaker for Al Jazira, Thulane Serero has reached out to Gavin Hunt, to ask him to sign him for next season.
"My time as a footballer is coming to an end. I feel that it would be an injustice to my dreams to hang my boots without having worn a jersey for the team that I loved most. I love Kaizer Chiefs to the moon and back, I am a Khosi at heart. Even my former Ajax teammates most of them were and are still Kaiszer Chiefs fans," said the South African international.
Serero has had quite a blossoming career, he did that what most people failed to do; he went out to Europe and flourished. Many players such as Percy Tau are still struggling to find their feet, which is a testament to how difficult the conditions are out there.
If Serero manages to pocket a move to the Naturena, it would very poetic to retire in his home land, and we hope that he does get a transfer to the Amakhosi side because he is packed with loads of experience; which would make him an exceptional addition to the side.
