Chiefs have let go of eight players while bringing in the same number in the just past transfer window, and with eight of the contracts of their star coming to an end, the club will surely let the majority of them go.

With that said we have decided to look at those players and their chances of staying at Naturena, and here they are:

Daniel Akpeyi(35)

He is currently the only Chiefs keeper who has shown consistency, and undoubtedly their number after the last two games where he showed that he deserved the chance. And he might be given another season.

• Bruce Bvuma(26)

The keeper who is currently on national duties with South Africa is seen as the next shot-stopper to take over Itumeleng Khune, he will definitely be given an extension.

• Ramahlwe Mphahlele(31)

Former Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club captain is yet to kick a ball for Chiefs this season, and will definitely leave at the end of the season.

• Reeve Frosler(23)

The utility fullback has seen less action this season with Njabulo Blom and Sfiso Hlanti preferred ahead of him, but his age and utility will see him continue at Naturena beyond this season.

• Kearyn Baccus(30)

There is no chance that he will be at Naturena come next season.

• Lebogang Manyama(31)

Having signed a one-year extension with an option for another, his stay at Naturena will be given on how he performs this season.

• Lazarous Kambole(27)

The transfer-listed star will be hoping for miracles for his stay at Chiefs to be prolonged, other than that he will leave at the end of the season.

• Samir Nurkovic(29)

It is totally up to him whether he wants to start or not, but he is still a wanted man at Naturena.
