Chelsea established an undesirable record at the new Wembley Stadium

Following its loss to Liverpool in the FA Cup Final, Chelsea established a record that it did not want to achieve.

The Blues are currently in third place in the table of the English Premier League with 70 points, four points behind Arsenal and five points behind the side that is currently in fifth place, Tottenham Hotspur.

The blues' chances of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League are not yet certain because the result of their upcoming match in the English Premier League will determine whether or not they will maintain their current position of third place or whether Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur will pass them.

The Blues have now lost three consecutive FA Cup finals, most recently falling to Arsenal by a score of 2-1 in the year 2020 and to Leicester City by a score of 1-0 in the year 2017. (2021).

This year marks the third year in a row that the Blues have been defeated in the final match played at the New Wembley Stadium. A record that could be challenging for any squad to beat in the future.
