Reasons why South Africa football is more advance than any other African countries: JOSE RIVEIRO

The Orlando Pirates' Jose Riveiro has weighed in on the state of soccer in South Africa after getting his tenure off to a triumphant start.

So far, Riveiro, new to SA football, has been impressed with the usefulness of using the technical points of SA soccer so far, describing it as ‘a stunning package’.

His predecessor, Josef Zinnbauer, and Bafana Bafana teacher, Hugo Broos, infamously hit out at the fabled Premiership.

"I’m then more impressed with the technical level of the South African players; the difficulties in this league are immoderate due to the technical ability of the players," Riveiro told the media at Orlando Stadium.

On the other hand, I didn’t see a single participant barring manageable so far. On the other hand, perhaps I am wrong. On the other hand, that’s what I have seen, so that makes the video games very interesting from my point of view.

What attracted Eva Nga to the Pirates?

"On Friday, I was looking at the first game of the season [Cape Town City v Mamelodi Sundowns], 20-30 minutes into the game, and it was wonderful to see the game right here because you can see chances, you can see actual motion coming from the brilliant of the players, so the every and each and every day bundle deal is lovely," he added.

The Soweto giants are subsequent in movement on Wednesday as they tour to the Western Cape to take on Stellenbosch FC at the Danie Craven Stadium.
