Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye has outlined plans for his newly formed club.
Khanye recently announced that he is now the owner and Chairman of a newly formed club in Daveyton known as Faki'mali Uzobona FC.
Khanye launched his new club in line to give back to the community of Daveyton where he was raised, he is looking forward to registering the team with the local football association for affiliation. The team is based in Etwatwa, Daveyton with its main aim to create future stars.
According to Khanye the team currently recruits players under the age of 18 years and will be campaigning in the SAFA Regional League. He further states that he has since appointed a Coach, with the team set to also feature in local township tournaments. The team and the academy with both be part of the Junior Khanye Foundation.
Furthermore, Khanye also states that he has since bought footballing equipments needed to run a team. He also refers to his township as Brazil, as it has been known for producing future stars. His main aim is to produce players who will feature Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and future Bafana Bafana stars.
Khanye has since stated that he hasn't retired from professional football and would feature for any team if given the opportunity.
